A Tip.

You are best to copy the phpbay_api folder to another spot on your computer. Now modify the htaccess file using a text editor and save it. Remove the files you do not need like I did above. Now whenever you want to make another site like we just did you only have to upload the contents of your new folder, I called mine XsitePro PhpBay so that I can identify it easily.

One thing you do have to be careful of is that if your site has it's own images folder that you copy the contents of the PhpBay images folder into the image folder you have on your server and it will work fine. An easier way when using xsitepro is when you are making the site, add your images into xsitepro at the start.

Which is very easy to do;

Open your site in Xsitepro.

Click on the other Tab at the top of the window.

Click on the Resource Manager.

Click on the ADD button at the top.

Locate your image folder click on it and then click on the Open button. I normally just double click on the folder but that may not work for everyone.

Now that you can see your images select all of them then click on the Open button.

Now make sure that the Images folder is selected from the Select Folder confirmation window then click on the ADD button.

Close the Resource Manager window and save your work.

Job done. If you do it this way remember that you do not need to FTP the images folder to your server as XsitePro will do it for you when you publish your website.

One last warning with that last idea.

in the PhpBay images folder are botbg topbg and midbg Jpeg files if you are prompted to overwrite the files when you go to import the images say NO, as your template is using files of the same name and you will wreck your sites template.

Simply locate those 3 images that are in the Resource Manager window you have still open.

Select one and then Rename it. Do that for all three images. Write the new name down so you know what it is now called, as you need that info in a moment.

Now import those three images again from the PhpBay images folder into XsitePro.

From the Page Layout screen within XsitePro have a look at the name of the images you are using and locate where the images where being used by your template. Click on the drop down box and pick the new name you gave which corresponds with the image that was being used.

As an example.

If you had botbg.jpg as the original name of an image being used by your websites template and you renamed it to 15.png, simply click on 15.png from the drop down window so that the correct image is being displayed where it should be. Just under a NEW Name.

It sounds complicated yet from the image below I hope you can see it is a very simple proccess to do compared to explaining it.

On the left you can see it is merely picking the section of your site that you want to work on.

Now click on the drop down next to Image and select the new image you want to use for that section of your website.

As you can see it is very simple and a lot easier than renaming the image from within the PhpBay images folder as if you did it that way you would also have to go through the code that PhpBay is using and locate where the image is being refrenced and change that to match what you renamed those images to.

Yeah Right!

XsitePro was designed to be powerful and simple to use for dummies like me, so make the most of that aspect of the program whenever you can and save yourself a headache.

As mentioned above this is my first ever tutorial so i may have made it seem a lot harder than it is as I wanted to try and cover most things to look out for when making a site like this.

Basically you just need to upload the PhpBay Pro files to the server like I mentioned earlier.

Import your Keyword list/s and make sure you place the php code in the source code during step 3 with the  token in the php code where you are supose to place your keyword.

Save your work, then publish your site and you are finished.
